When a great game is released, fans just want more. They want more levels, more weapons, more quests, and so on. Whatever it is they liked about the game, they want more and they don’t always want to wait until a sequel to get it. In this day and age, DLC is all the rave, extending the life span of hit titles for over a year. Fallout 4 took advantage of this, but that has come to an end.
The anticipated final DLC, Nuka-World, released back in August. According to a Steam page for Fallout 4, however, there was another big update coming soon. Fans speculated that this could be a new mystery DLC, thinking that calling Nuka-World the final one was only to throw them off. Unfortunately, this has been shot down right from the source.
Pete Hines, the Vice President of PR and Marketing for Bethesda, has responded to people on Twitter and stated that it is definitely not new DLC. “As we previously said Nuka World was the final one.” When asked what it actually was, he responded, “We haven’t said.” What a way to keep us on the edge of our seats. Hopefully we’ll get an actual announcement soon. Many are leaning towards it being an update for Fallout 4 to support VR, but we’ll have to wait and see.
