The Coalition has been hard at work making changes to Horde Mode in Gears of War 4. In a recent post on the Official Gears of War Forums, Community Director Adam Fletcher writes about the changes the team has made to the game mode. In his post, Fletcher explains that the recent update changes the rate at which credits and experience are earned in Horde Mode. These changes affect both Private and Online matches.
As of now, the rate at which players earn in-game credits has been increased across all difficulties. There has also been an increase in the rate at which classes earn experience as well. In the post, Fletcher also states, “We have shifted total credit earn rates to tie a bit more in with finishing the waves and less on finishing consecutive waves. This is to help players not feel as if they are being punished for trying higher difficulties and not always making it to 50.”
He then closes by stating that they will be looking at making more changes to the game in the future. But in the mean time, they wanted to implement these changes as soon as possible.
Gears of War 4 is now available for Xbox One and PC.
