The video features some of the neat and cinematic ways to utilize the tools, and create some truly staggering scenes. For instance, the spectator camera can follow a plane in birds-eye view while it bombs the battlefield, or increase filtering to a more dramatic pan view of a horse-riding soldier in a whipping sandstorm.
Andrew ‘ShadowSixFilms’, goes into detail on what sort of features can be tinkered with. These include adjustable depth of field, filters, camera angles, viewing modes, viewing options and so much more. The sheer amount of ways to customize and adjust the spectator camera allows budding cinematic directors and even regular spectators a chance to view the gameplay from a more interesting angle with loads of options.
Battlefield 1 is set for release on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on the 21st of October. The spectator mode will not be available on launch, but will be a free release update for all platforms shortly after launch.
