Both of the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare betas have come and gone, and according to Infinity Ward, they will have a lasting effect on the final product.
In a post on Activision’s official blog, Infinite Warfare’s lead multiplayer designer, Joe Cecot, not only thanked players for their feedback during the betas, but also said that the data gathered over the course of both beta weekends will be used to optimize and balance the matchmaking system as well as the game’s new weapons and equipment.
“We got some excellent player insights into how to best optimize our new matchmaking system and how to balance our new weapons and equipment to create the best quality matches possible for launch,” Cecot said. “We can’t wait to apply what we’ve learned and show you more of our game as we update and develop it further with your input.”
No specific information was given about exactly how matchmaking, weapons, and equipment will be changed in the final version of the game, so we will have to wait and see how Infinity Ward decides to implement the feedback they have received.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is scheduled to release on November 4th on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
