During Paris Games Week, Square Enix announced Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMix for the PlayStation 4, which combines the two HD collections originally released on PlayStation 3.
The collection releases March 28, 2017 and includes remastered versions of Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix, Re: Chain of Memories, Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix, Birth By Sleep Final Mix, and updated cutscenes from Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days and Kingdom Hearts Re:coded.
1.5 + 2.5 celebrates the 15th anniversary of the first game’s launch back in 2002.

All of the titles will be contained on one disc and is priced at $49.99. Another collection, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue arrives January 24 next year and includes Dream Drop Distance, χ Back Cover and a new adventure 0.2: Birth by Sleep – Fragmentary Passage. The long awaited third installment is set to launch on PS4 and Xbox One, currently with no release date announced.
In other related news, a limited edition was announced earlier this month for 2.8 that includes a collector’s pin. With the release of these two collections, PS4 owners will have practically access to every installment in the franchise. Despite the next main entry releasing on multiple platforms, Xbox One owners have yet to see any collection or remasters for the console.
