Nintendo has revealed that they’ll be holding a presentation on their newly announced system, the Switch, on January 12 next year. Following news that Nintendo would be withholding specifics on the Switch until next year, the presentation will presumably cover major details on the console that are currently a mystery.
The event will be held in Tokyo for invited media, financial analysts and trade partners, but will also be streamed live globally. According to Nintendo, the presentation will include “the launch date and pricing for Nintendo Switch, as well as a look at the lineup of games currently in development.”
President of Nintendo Tatsumi Kimishima also announced that the Nintendo Switch will have “sampling events” for invited media, partners and consumers in the U.S. and Europe at later dates after the Jan. 12 presentation. Details on chances to participate in other hands-on events for the public will be revealed at a later date.
