Alongside Galaga Legions and Joe Danger 2, one of the greatest gaming collections ever has joined the library of Xbox One backwards compatible games.
Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb, the Director of Programming for Xbox Live, made the announcement on twitter to much excitement.

While the first two games didn’t make many waves in the grand scheme of things, The Orange Box is a completely different story. Included in this massive pack of games from Valve is Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2: Episode 1 and 2, Team Fortress 2, and Portal. Here you have arguably the best First Person Shooter ever created, the best physics puzzler ever, and the greatest hat collection sim/team based shooter prior to Overwatch.
There hasn’t been a greater collection of games ever and every single game included in The Orange Box has influenced their genre for years. If you haven’t been able to play this pack, or are itching to replay some of the titles, you can now do that with your Xbox One system.
