Prepare to celebrate Halloween all month long with Overwatch’s Terror event running from October 11 to November 1.
All Loot Boxes in the game have been replaced with glowing jack-o’-lanterns. Each lantern will contain at least one item from the game’s Halloween 2016 collection.
The limited-time Loot Boxes add 100 new cosmetic items including 12 brand-new skins, profile icons, sprays, victory poses, emotes, highlight intros and more.
In addition to all the new loot, the game’s first co-op PvE Brawl, Junkenstein’s Revenge, is now live. Players will group up in teams of four, choosing from the Alchemist (Ana), the Archer (Hanzo), the Gunslinger (McCree), or the Soldier (Soldier: 76) to fend off Dr. Junkenstein’s hordes of enemies.
“The fright for the future has begun, heroes, and for the next three weeks, we’re celebrating the spookiest time of the year in true Overwatch fashion—with a brand new seasonal event!,” Blizzard said in a blog post. “Explore the haunted streets of Hollywood, expand your collection of themed holiday items, and relive a chilling tale in our first-ever PvE brawl: Junkenstein’s Revenge!”
Overwatch is available now on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Stay tuned for more updates on the game and future seasonal events right here at Gamespresso.
