Players who have pre-ordered DICE’s upcoming WW1 shooter Battlefield 1 will be able to pre load the game starting from October 16th, according to the game’s official PlayStation Store page. It is expected that this will be available for gamers from all regions at the same time.
For everyone who hasn’t pre-ordered the game, Battlefield 1 will launch on October 21st on PC, PS4 and Xbox One following on from a successful open beta. By pre-loading the game, players will be able to download it and play it in full as soon as the game is officially released on October 21st. On consoles, the title will take up to 42GB of storage and so pre-loading the game can be beneficial, particularly for those with slow download speeds.
In other Battlefield 1 news, all of the game’s multiplayer maps and modes have been revealed. It has also recently been announced that the game will receive a new spectator mode, allowing players to create cinematic shots of the scaled war zones.
