- Mod support on consoles
- Remastered art and effects
- Volumetric lighting (“God Rays”)
- Dynamic Depth of Field
- Screen-space reflections
- New snow and water shaders
How mod support is handled on the PS4 will be cause for intrigue considering Bethesda’s recent troubles in regards to adding mod support to the PS4 version of Fallout 4. Skyrim Special Edition will release on Friday, October 28, on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
