It looks like Star Wars Battlefront fans can rejoice, as a recently posted Amazon listing reveals a pre-order for an Ultimate Edition of the game. Since the leaked post, DICE has now officially announced the $40 package, claiming it is their way of celebrating the first anniversary of the game’s launch.
Battlefront: Ultimate Edition is set to release on November 18th, adding to the already crowded November line-up of games. The listing says the Ultimate Edition will include the Deluxe Edition of the game and the season pass, which includes 5 in-game unlocks, including emotes exclusive to the package, and the 4 expansion packs: the recently released Death Star, Bespin, Outer Rim, and Star Wars Rogue One: Scarif, which will be officially released at the same time as the Ultimate Edition package for season pass holders.
The product description reads, “The Star Wars Battlefront Ultimate Edition has everything fans need to live out their Star Wars battle fantasies, including the Star Wars Battlefront Deluxe Edition and Star Wars Battlefront Season Pass. Rebels and Imperials alike will be able to expand their galaxy, with 4 expansion packs, 30+ maps, 14 heroes and 14 game modes.” It is currently only eligible for shipping within the US.
The release is well timed to help bring up excitement levels for the release of the next movie, Star Wars: Rogue One, coming December 15th.
