New trailer compares Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection to the originals
Ubisoft has released a new trailer showing how Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection compares to the original versions of the games.In the trailer (seen below), we can see improved draw distance, more detailed character models, and a richer color pallet. The games will have a bump of resolution and other changes, such as improved textures and reduced screen tearing. The video compares the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 versions of the games.

In September, Ubisoft VP of Editorial Tommy Francois stated that there may be no Assassin’s Creed of Far Cry titles in 2017: “We believe Alpha for these games needs to be one year before release. We’re trying to achieve that. That’s super ******* blunt, I don’t even know if I’m allowed to say this. This is the goal we’re going for: Alpha one year before, more quality, more polish. So if this means biting the [bullet] and not having an Assassin’s game, or a Far Cry [in 2017], **** it.”
Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection releases on November 15th for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The collection includes Assassin’s Creed 2, Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, and Assassin’s Creed Revelations. The collection will include all of the single-player add-on content, and the two short films, Assassin’s Creed Embers and Lineage. Unfortunately, the games will not have multiplayer support.
