Evolution Studios has announced its final update for Driveclub. This 5.75 GB update will add 15 new tracks to the game. These tracks are currently available in the VR version of the game. It will also add variants to some of the existing tracks that are already in the game. These tracks include Bryggen in Norway, the port of Vancouver in Canada, Ashii in India and Gujo in Japan.
Along with the patch notes, Evolution Studios has added a message for all of their fans who have stuck with the game since the company shut down earlier last year. The message reads, “Thanks for your support. Thanks for your commitment. Farewell.” This update comes as a surprise considering the company’s current state.
Sony confirmed the closure earlier this year. The company faced a rocky release with the game that cause many of the company’s staff to be laid off last year.
The game was released for PlayStation 4 in October of 2014. It now has PlayStation VR support following the release of the device on October 13th of this year. This version of the game added 15 new tracks to the game. There is no word if the game will receive an update for the PlayStation 4 Pro.
