Back in September, it was announced that Fallout 4 would not be receiving mod support on the PlayStation 4. However, it was confirmed last month that mod support will be coming to the PlayStation 4 after all. It was announced that mods on the PlayStation 4 version of the game will allow users to modify and create their own content by using Bethesda’s Creation Kit. Players with a Bethesda.net account will be able to try out mods from within the game. Unfortunately, players will only be able to use assets included in the game, and will not be able to upload their own external assets.
It has been announced that both Fallout 4 and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition will take advantage of the boosted power of the PlayStation 4 Pro with 4K support. When the system releases on November 10th, Skyrim will render at native 4K, while Fallout 4 will be updated at a later date with 4K support.
Fallout 4 is available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
