Square Enix has released new details on Final Fantasy XV’s planned PlayStation 4 Pro support.
On Twitter (translated by Gematsu), Square Enix gave more details on Final Fantasy XV’s PlayStation 4 Pro support. An update will be released alongside the game, and will add 4K and HDR support. The developer also wants to release another PlayStation 4 Pro update in December as well. The update will aim to provide support for 1080p and 60 FPS on HDTVs. Square Enix is still in the middle of development for the update, and have the game running roughly between 40 and 50 FPS.
It was also announced that a Japanese-only demo for Final Fantasy XV will release on November 11th. The demo, entitled Final Fantasy XV: Judgment Disc, will let gamers play the opening of the game until the middle of Episode 1. The total play time for the demo is around an hour to an hour-and-a-half. After beating the demo, players will be able to see bonus footage not available to the general public. Players will not be able to carry save data from the demo into the full game. Some stores will let gamers who do not own a console try out the demo.
Final Fantasy XV will release on November 29th for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
