As with previous Hearthstone expansions, the Mean Streets of Gadgetzan will introduce new cards and a new game mechanic: the crime families. Each class is allied to one of three crime families, and these families contain their own specific cards and strategies. If this is your first time hearing about the expansion, here is a quick rundown:
- The Grimy Goons aid hunters, paladins, and warriors by buffing minions who haven’t even left the player’s hand yet.
- The Kabal provides warlocks, priests, and mages with potions that do everything from heal allies to brainwash enemies.
- The Jade Lotus lends rogues, shamans, and druids unique minions known as Jade Golems that get stronger the more they are summoned.
Even though Blizzard has revealed all of the cards early, gamers will have to wait until December 1st to get their hands on them.
