There are several titles on the sales charts that featured in the previous week’s top 20, with only one new entry making the list, Dishonored 2. 4 EA games make the top list, along with 3 from Maryland based developers Bethesda. Here is the list in full:

- Forza Horizon 3 (Microsoft)

- Titanfall 2 (EA Games)
- Lego Dimensions (Lego Dimensions)
- Star Wars Battlefront (EA Games)
- Grand Theft Auto V (Rockstar)

- Tom Clancy’s The Division (Ubisoft)
Eight of the games come under the FPS tag. With subject matter ranging from the battlefields of the Sinai desert during World War 1, right through to an Imperial assault across the ice plains of Hoth in Star Wars Battlefront, it shows that there is plenty of variety on offer in the shooter category.
The biggest climber within the top 20 is Blizzard’s Overwatch. The game has seen half price discounts on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One at many retailers recently, and its possible the recent Overwatch World Cup at Blizzcon inspired some gamers to finally pick it up. This has seen the game climb from 18th last week up to 7th.
Infinity Ward and Activision’s latest in the Call of Duty franchise tops the list for the second week running since its release. It has however seen a physical sales drop of 65% in its second week, greater than the second week drop in the last title of the series, Black Ops III (-57%.) Despite this, the game has still enjoyed the second biggest launch of the year, beaten only by FIFA 17.
More disappointing news is for Dishonored 2, which debuts at number 4 on the list. Its first week sales are 38% lower than the original. It does need to be taken into consideration that this game has released only on PS4 and Xbox One machines, of which there are far fewer than Dishonored’s platforms of Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
