Rigs: Mechanized Combat League getting free update in December
Guerrilla Cambridge developer of the PlayStation VR exclusive Rigs: Mechanized Combat League has announced that the game will be receiving its first free update this December.Some of the new content includes new Rigs, maps, events and more. Arriving in the update are APX Rigs, which are faster than the standard Rigs but have a lower armor rating for balancing reasons.

A new European Arena called Zurich is also coming to the game. “This Arena is an extension of the Rigs HQ Complex, and offers a balanced layout with a clear overview for the Tempest class and plenty of tunnels for the Hunter class,” Guerrilla explained in a PlayStation blog post. Skillful use of shields will prove essential when trying to reach the goal during a PowerSlam match.”
The Zurich arena make its debut and will also be playable at this year’s PlayStation Experience on Dec. 3-4. Check out the update trailer below:
In addition, Rigs will also be including new weekly trials that reward players in various ways upon completion with things such as in-game credits, fame and exclusive customization items.
