Skate 3 comes to Xbox One backward compatibility
It's been one year since Microsoft introduced backward compatibility to the Xbox One, and they are celebrating the anniversary by adding Skate 3, one of the initiative's most requested games.This is the third game that Electronic Arts has approved for backward compatibility this week, since Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3 were added just a few days earlier. Skate 3 was originally released on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in 2010, and is now fully playable on Xbox One. Like other backward compatible games, you can either use the Xbox 360 disc if you have one, or purchase a digital version of the game. The game is on sale right now for Xbox Live Gold subscribers at $9.99, down from its standard price of $11.99. In addition, the San Van Party Pack DLC will be free on the Xbox Marketplace until November 20th, so grab it while you can.

Scarygirl from TikGames has was also added as a new backward compatible game, which brings the total number Xbox 360 games that are playable on Xbox One up to 284. This is more than double the games that were available as part of the original launch lineup back in November 2015, which was 104 games. The full list of backward compatible games can be found here.
