Telltale Games could be bringing us Guardians of the Galaxy
Telltale Games, the makers of superb episodic titles, including their hugely popular adaptation of The Walking Dead, may be working on their version of Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy.Recently, there was a strike by members of the SAG-AFTRA union that represents voice actors in the video games industry. An upshot of this strike was a release of projects that had not reached new deals regarding actors' pay. The list shows a project titled "Guardians of the Galaxy- The Video Game aka. Blue Harvest." This was accredited to O'Farrell Enterprises, who are also connected on the list to season 3 of The Walking Dead.

Back in April 2015, Telltale Games announced they were indeed working on an un-named Marvel project scheduled for release in 2017. The connection of the two clues suggests the existence of a video game that may follow the exploits of Star Lord, Rocket and Groot among the other favorites.
Telltale’s episodic themed games may translate well to the Marvel franchise. Or perhaps the action filled story line we would imagine will be hindered by a dialogue heavy puzzle game. Marvel is preparing to release the second Guardians of the Galaxy film on the May 5 next year. A video game that is well timed around that release, could help both film and game be a bigger success.
This is far from an official announcement, and we still don’t have any firm details. Time will tell, but fans of the space going Marvel heroes will surely be waiting with baited breath for any future announcements.
