It is a competitive market to try and break into. There are already a number of highly rated dog fighting games available to Android users. CHAOS Combat Helicopter 3D has been downloaded more than 5 million times, and direct competition to War Wings within the WW2 genre is Winds of Steel, which has a 4.2 star rating with over a million downloads.
The depth of content accessible within War Wings might give it a sporting chance. The app boasts 4v4 online action, daily challenges and a PvP season mode. It has already been given Unity’s Golden Cube Award for Best Game and Best Original Mobile Game at the Hong Kong Mobile Developer Conference, so SixJoy have clearly done something right.
You can find out more about War Wings and its publisher via their Facebook page and will be coming soon to the Google Play Store.
