Last week’s video game charts, ending on the 19th of November, has produced no real surprises in the UK games sales chart. The list compiled by GFK has Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare remaining top of the list, unable to be toppled by the release of Ubisoft’s hacker adventure, Watchdogs 2.
Ubisoft also managed to have the weeks only other new entry into the top 20. The Assassin’s Creed: Ezio Collection entered at number 10 which is quite impressive for a re-release. Take 2’s WWE 2K17 was the weeks big climber, rising from 16th place up to 5th.
The Top 20 is as follows:
- Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare
- Watchdogs 2
- FIFA 17
- Battlefield 1
- WWE 2K17
- Forza Horizon 3
- Dishonored 2
- The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Ed.
- Grand Theft Auto V
- Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection
- Gears of War 4
- Star Wars Battlefront
- Lego Dimensions
- Mafia III
- Titanfall 2
- Minecraft: Xbox Edition
- Rocket League
- Overwatch
- Skylanders Imaginators
- Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Edition
The past week has seen another disappointing result for Respawn Entertainment’s Titanfall 2. It dropped from 8th to 15th. Despite the game receiving rave reviews from players and critics alike, it doesn’t seem to be attracting the attention of buyers. This may be of some concern to Respawn boss Vince Zampalla, whose former studio Infinity Ward have once again hit the top of sales with its latest Call of Duty, a franchise that Zampalla himself helped to create.
Next weeks sales chart will be expected to feature the much anticipated release of Pokemon Sun and Moon, which hits the shelves in the UK on November 23rd. Perhaps Game Freak and their visit to the Alola region can knock Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare from the summit.
