Dishonored 2 has been getting pretty good reviews, with people loving the initial release and different character choices. We’ve gotten an official release date for the first patch, which will improve upon the formula. Expect to see the new Dishonored 2 update on December 19th.
Bethesda has announced that the patch will include New Game Plus, a mission select menu, some optimization changes, and the ability to customize your difficulty settings to “further tailor to your playstyle and adjust the challenge based on a wide array of settings.”
The new Game Plus for Dishonored 2 will be unlocked upon completion of the main game. Starting a game over in this mode will give players access to all skills available to Corvo and Emily, no matter which character they’re choosing to play through it with. Skills normally vary depending on who you choose after the prologue, with small story changes. Players will also have access to all Bonecharm traits and Runes found in previous playthroughs, allowing all types of fun skills to use in early game and beyond that you couldn’t use before.
The patch is giving players a much higher degree of game customization than they are probably used to with the series, hopefully for the better.
The Dishonored 2 patch will be available December 19th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
