BioWare premiered a new gameplay video for Mass Effect Andromeda at this year’s Game Awards.
In the trailer (seen below), we get to see some of the game’s different mechanics. This includes a look at the Nomad, the Mako, and a new scanning tool. The narrator for the video states that the player is the Pathfinder, who is looking for a new home. We also get to see combat, and some of the new powers that players will be able to use on their enemies. The video also states that while players will begin with the Nomad, they will need to craft or steal the rest of their equipment.
The pre-order bonuses for Mass Effect Andromeda were revealed last week. Those who pre-order the game will receive the Deep Space Explorer Armor, a mutliplayer booster pack containing five XP boosters, and a bonus skin for the Nomad. It was also announced that the Deluxe Edition of the game will include the game, the Pathfinder Casual Outfit, Scavenger Armor, the Pathfinder Elite Weapon Set, a pet Pyjack, the game’s soundtrack, and the Multiplayer Deluxe Launch Pack. The Super Deluxe Edition comes with everything in the Deluxe Edition, as well as the Multiplayer Super Deluxe Booster Packs, which provide one co-op premium pack every week for twenty weeks.
Mass Effect Andromeda will release for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in Spring of 2017.
