The Steam Awards finalists are in, voting starts today

The finalists of the much-lauded Steam Awards have finally been revealed.Back in November, Valve created the Steam Awards and allowed gamers to nominate their favorite games for several hilariously named awards. The lists of finalists have finally been released.  The awards and nominees are as follows:

Gamers will be allowed to vote on each of these awards once a day. Starting today, December 22nd, gamers can vote on the “Villain Most In Need Of A Hug” award.  On December 23rd, the “I Thought This Game Was Cool Before It Won An Award” award will be open for voting, and so on down the list. On December 30th, gamers can vote on the “Boom Boom”, “Love/Hate Relationship”, “Sit Back and Relax”, and “Better With Friends” awards. Valve is set to announce the winners on New Year’s Eve.
