Ubisoft’s 30th anniversary celebration comes to a close this December, and Ubisoft is closing out the celebration with free copies of Assassin’s Creed III.
Ubisoft turned thirty this year and celebrated by giving gamers free copies of some of its best games. The celebration started strong in June when gamers received Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, and Ubisoft has continued to gift gamers one free game each month. In October, Ubisoft gave gamers a double whammy with a free copy of Beyond Good and Evil and the announcement that it finally started development on Beyond Good and Evil 2. November followed with free copies of the critically acclaimed Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon. In December, Ubisoft will give out the last free game of its 30th anniversary celebration: Assassin’s Creed III.
Sadly, there are some caveats to this gift. First, gamers can only receive Assassin’s Creed III on the PC. Second, a Uplay account and client is required to receive and play the game. And third, as with the previous games Ubisoft gave out during this celebration, Assassin’s Creed III will only be available for one month.
Gamers who hurry and either own or make a Uplay account will be able to pick up Assassin’s Creed III this December and will be able to take advantage of Ubisoft’s 30 Days of Giveaways.
