6.2 million PlayStation 4 units were sold over the holidays
It seems that the PlayStation 4 did really well this past holiday season.More than 6.2 million PlayStation 4 units were sold during the 2016 holiday season. Sony also announced that the PS4 has now sold over 53.4 million units worldwide as of January 1, 2017. Software sales were also strong through the holiday season, with over 50.4 million copies being sold in retail stores and digitally. As of December 21st, 2016, Uncharted 4: A Thief's End has sold more than 8.7 million copies globally.

In a recent blog post, Sony announced a number of games that have made their way to PlayStation Now. PS Now subscribers can now play Dark Souls II, as well as Tekken Tag Tournament. Also new this month are Namco Museum Essentials (Pac-Man, Xevious, Galaga, DigDug, Dragon Spirit, and Xevious Resurrection), and Dead to Rights: Retribution.
