Ubisoft has addressed the outage that occurred in Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege earlier this week.
Due to the outage on January 25th, all players who logged into Rainbow Six Siege on January 25th were provided a 1 Day Booster. This booster was given to all players who logged onto the game on January 25th between the hours of 00:00 – 23: 59 GMT, and applied to all platforms. Due to an outage that occurred on January 26th, Ubisoft activated a 50% Renown Bonus Event. The event was meant to last 24 hours, but it was announced that players will be able enjoy 50% more Renown after every match until 23:59 GMT on Sunday. Players will be able to use their 1 Day Boosters at the same time as the Bonus Renown Event, increasing the Renown that they can earn.
The first DLC of the year was announced for Rainbow Six Siege. The DLC is entitled Operation Velvet Shell, with a live demo taking place at the Six Invitational taking place in February. Details about the new map and operators will be revealed during teaser panels for the DLC. For those who cannot make it to the event, the reveal of Operation Velvet Shell will be streamed on Twitch, YouTube, and Facebook.
Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege is available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
