Grand Theft Auto Online gets its first update of 2017

Grand Theft Auto Online has received its first update for 2017, which includes a new motorcycle and Adversary Mode.To kick off 2017, Grand Theft Auto Online players can now pick up a brand new motorcycle, the customizable Pegassi FCR 1000. The latest update also includes a new Adversary Mode, Vehicle Vendetta. Vehicle Vendetta puts two teams of players against each other, as they compete for power-ups that can turn the tide of battle. Grand Theft Auto Online has received its first update for 2017, which includes a new motorcycle and Adversary Mode.

To kick off 2017, Grand Theft Auto Online players can now pick up a brand new motorcycle, the customizable Pegassi FCR 1000. The latest update also includes a new Adversary Mode, Vehicle Vendetta. Vehicle Vendetta puts two teams of players against each other, as they compete for power-ups that can turn the tide of battle. You can see the power-ups below:

• Beast: Automatically transforms you into a Rhino Tank.
• Detonator: Removes obstacles and objects from the arena.
• Bomb: Place up to three bombs around the map to destroy trailing enemies.
• Rockets: Fire rockets at oncoming drivers to incapacitate them.
• Repair: Returns vehicle back to max health.
• Ghost: Become translucent, allowing you to drive through enemy vehicles to steal their power-ups.
• Jammed: Forces the accelerator on for the enemy team’s vehicles.
• Flipped: Reverses the enemy team’s steering, acceleration, and braking controls.
• Zoned: Slows down time for all players.
• Deadline: Automatically switches you onto the Nagasaki Shotaro complete with devastating light trail.
• Random: Chance to collect any power-up except Detonator.

As a bonus, players will be able to earn Double GTA$ and RP in Vehicle Vendetta through January 17th.

Rockstar has also announced that players will be able to take advantage of a number of discounts between January 3rd and January 16th. The discounts include the following:

• 25% more GTA$ on Vehicle Exports.
• 25% off Special Vehicle Warehouse Renovations & Special Cargo Warehouses.
• 50% of the Grenade Launcher.
• 25% off Engine Performance Upgrades.
• 25% off Body Armor, Ammo, Throwables, and Explosive Weapon Ammo.
• 25% off all Masks.

Finally, Rockstar has announced that starting January 3rd, players can earn Double GTA$ and RP for competing in the 27 Rockstar Stunt Races. It was also announced that Racing Alley will be the Premium Race until January 16th. In order to join the Premium Race, players have to hit the yellow blip at Legion Square, or can enter via the Quick Job App on their in-game phone.

Grand Theft Auto Online is available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
