Earlier this week, Mass Effect producer Michael Gamble revealed that BioWare currently has no plans to release Andromeda on the Nintendo Switch or Microsoft Scorpio. The title will be optimized for the PS4 Pro, but not the Scorpio. However, Gamble did explain that the doors have not been closed entirely, suggesting that a Switch or Scorpio version of Andromeda may eventually happen.
At the Game Awards last month, a trailer for Mass Effect Andromeda was released, which met with a positive response. However, some fans did voice their concern over the game’s animations and lip-syncing. However, BioWare has assured fans that these issues will be fixed before the game releases. Creative director Mac Walters responded to the concerns by stating on Twitter: “We’ll be polishing the game until they take it from our cold, dead hands.” Michael Gamble also stated: “We will continue to polish until someone comes and rips it from us. Because we <3 you.”
Mass Effect Andromeda will release for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on March 21st.
