Ubisoft has released the patch notes for Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege’s patch 5.3.
Rainbow Six Siege’s patch 5.3, which is out today, adds one new feature. Now, in custom lobbies, the host can access a pause button while the other players choose their Operator. The host can do this by pressing either the End key or the Start button along with Up on the d-pad. The host then pushes the buttons again in order to restart the timer.
Along with the pause feature, patch 5.3 fixed a number of issues. This includes gameplay bugs and user experience issues. The patch also made changes for a number of the Operators, including IQ, Tachanka, Echo, and Twitch. Fixes were also made for some of the game’s modes, such as Bomb and Hostage. Finally, fixes were made for some of the levels, including Bartlett University and Kanal.

Last year it was announced that Rainbow Six Siege will continue to receive support throughout this year. On the game’s Twitter account, it was stated: “The past year has been an incredible journey, and we are excited to have you join us for another full year of content!” No other details on what to expect for this year were given.
Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
