Gameplay of Robin from Injustice 2 has been revealed.
During a Twitch livestream, gameplay of Robin was revealed by NetherRealm. In the footage, we see Robin go up against some of the other confirmed characters, including Deadshot and Batman. The gameplay was also released on YouTube, which can be seen below.
During the stream, NetherRealm head Ed Boon stated that Injustice 2’s roster will feature more obscure characters than the first game, which featured more well-known characters. Boon also teased that Injustice 2 may receive third-party characters as DLC, as this was very popular in Mortal Kombat X. Boon said that the upcoming fighter will have the largest roster for a NetherRealm title, both on-disc and as DLC. It was also stressed that NetherRealm is avoiding allowing players to pay to win, as gear will not be sold for money.
It was revealed last week that there would be a beta test for Injustice 2. Today Boon confirmed that the codes for the beta are going out. The first wave of codes have been sent, with another wave to follow.
Injustice 2 will release for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on May 16th. It is unknown if the title will be released on PC.
