The next major update for The Elder Scrolls Online, which releases in February, will introduce housing. Players will be able to choose from 40 different homes, with over 2,000 decorative and furnishing options. After completing the tutorial quest, players will receive their first home, which they can expand. Homes will be styled after the title’s 10 races, though players will be able to choose whichever style of home they choose regardless of race. Players will be able to buy multiple houses, with homes being account-based, allowing all of a player’s characters to have access to them. Players will be able to decorate their homes with a number of items, which include tables, chests, beds, books, paintings, plants, and more. Gamers will be able to test the update on the Elder Scrolls Online Public Test Server in January.
