It has been revealed that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will feature an alternate ending.
In an interview with IGN Portugal (via DualShockers), producer Eiji Aonuma revealed that Breath of the Wild will have an alternate ending. He stated: “There is an alternate ending if you meet certain criteria. If you do a few things, you may see a different ending.” Aonuma also confirmed that Epona will be featured in the game, but did not release details on how to find her and what that means.
Last week, Nintendo revealed some of the key differences between the Wii U and Switch versions of the new Legend of Zelda. While the two versions of the game will be very similar, there are a few differences. The Wii U version will run at 720p, while the Switch version will run at 900p. The Switch version will have higher quality sounds, and will have different icons and onscreen buttons than the Wii U version. Nintendo also revealed that the Wii U version of Breath of the Wild will not have a Special Edition or Master Edition.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will release for the Switch and Wii U on March 3rd.
