BAFTA announces Esports Audience Award nomination list
The home of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (or BAFTA for short) has just revealed its nomination for the best esports game of 2017. Gamers can now vote to determine which game will go home with the coveted AMD Esports Audience Award.The AMD Esports Audience Award, according to the BAFTA website, "[recognizes and acknowledges] the games that captured the hearts and imaginations of players and audiences over the past year in the esports space." Each game listed has indeed done something to achieve just that. BAFTA has nominated the following games:

- Counter-Strike: Global Offensive
- Dota 2
- League of Legends

BAFTA will announce the winner of the AMD Esports Audience Award at the British Academy Games Awards on Thursday, April 6th. Furthermore, since the award is a collaboration between BAFTA and the computer parts manufacturer AMD, ten lucky voters will receive AMD prizes, including:
- 1 Full AMD PC worth 2,500 EUR/2654 USD
- 3 AMD Radeon RX 480 graphics cards
- 3 AMD FX 8370 processor
- 3 AMD Radeon RX 460 graphics cards
