Berserk and the Band of the Hawk, developer Omega Force’s Dynasty Warriors-esque one vs a thousand hack-and-slash game has gotten an official release trailer. The game will hit shelves February 24th for PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and PC via Steam.
The game follows Guts, Casca, and The Band of the Hawk through battles both in the human world and the demon realm. The game looks to blend the action-packed style of Warriors games with the excitement and gore of the Berserk series.
Players can play as iconic characters like Guts, Casca, Zodd, and even Griffith, and “awaken” their abilities to see even more of them. There are main and sub weapons to mix things up, along with the awakening modes: “Guts’ Berserker Armour to unleash deadly blows, Griffith’s demonic Femto form to deal swift bursts of damage, and Zodd’s giant Apostle form to effortlessly topple foes.”
There will be a story mode, and an Endless Eclipse mode, where you must fight horde after horde of enemies in the Eclipse dimension. Those that prove themselves in this mode will gain an upper hand in the main game.
Those that want the game on Steam can get a 10% early discount within the first week, along with a selection of special pre-order costumes.
