CCP Games has announced that the newest update to their successful VR space combat shooter, EVE: Valkyrie, is now live. The game’s “Wormhole” update brings brand new events to the game, as well as new features to multiplayer. CCP Games put together a quick trailer showing off some of these new changes.
Players will now have access to the new Wormhole Mode. Every weekend, a new Wormhole will open in the galaxy that they will be able to enter. In these areas, players will be presented with a variety of challenges that will test your skills as Valkyrie pilots.
In additions to this mode, the new Leagues alpha feature has also been introduced to EVE: Valkyrie. This new feature allows players to earn points through multiplayer matches that will allow them to rank up to various tiers. All players will start at the Emerald ranking and then progress through other ranks to eventually achieve Diamond ranking where only the best Valkyrie pilots sit.
As for other changes to the game, this update also brings changes and adjustments to certain features such as Thrustmaster T.Flight HOTAS 4 joystick support to the PlayStation 4 and improvements to Com Alerts and Pilot Training Modules. These changes were made based on feedback from the community.
EVE: Valkyrie’s Wormhole update marks the fourth piece of major DLC that the company has released for all players from free across all VR platforms.
