With a total of 5 free titles for PS4 players, PlayStation has revealed February’s lineup of free PS Plus games, including the most recent adventures of Sackboy, LittleBigPlanet 3.
Posting on the PlayStation Blog, Sony listed all six of this month’s free games. People with active PS Plus accounts are eligible to receive:
- LittleBigPlanet 3 (PS4)
- Not a Hero (PS4)
- Starwhal (PS3, cross buy with PS4)
- Anna – Extended Edition (PS3)
- Ninja Senki DX (PS Vita, cross buy with PS4)
- TorqueL (PS Vita, cross buy with PS4)
LittleBigPlanet3 and Not a Hero are the best games on offer. LittleBigPlanet3, as the name suggests, is the third main entry in the LittleBigPlanet franchise. The game is a Super Mario-esque puzzle platformer that stars the iconic Sackboy (or Sackgirl, depending on how you customize the character). While players can explore developer-created stages, the meat of the game lies with creating and exploring user-generated levels. Given the game’s robust level creator, what a player can create is only limited by his or her imagination, and that is not hyperbole.
Not a Hero is a quirky shooter game with a dark sense of humor and a pixel aesthetic. In the game, players control one of several anti-heroes, each with his or her own unique ability and weapon, as they help the morally ambiguous BunnyLord clean up the city and prove why he should be elected mayor. Players need to strategize how best to shoot their way through each level, and these strategies change depending on the selected character and stage.
Gamers with active PS Plus subscription can download these games starting February 7th.
