To celebrate the release of Nioh for the PlayStation 4, Sony is adding 12 Koei Tecmo games to the PS Now subscription service.
Posting on the PlayStation Blog, Sony revealed a new lineup of games players can stream with PS Now accounts:
- Dynasty Warriors 6 Empires
- Ar Nosurge: Ode to an Unborn Star
- Yaiba Ninja Gaiden Z
- Warriors: Legends of Troy
- Quantum Theory
- Bladestorm: The Hundred Years War
- Samurai Warriors 4
- Ninja Gaiden 3
While the blog post states that twelve games will be added to PS Now, only eight are listed.
Most of these games have received mixed reviews. While Ar Nosurge: Ode to an Unborn Star and Yaiba Ninja Gaiden Z received above average review scores, Samurai Warriors 4 is the only game on the list that was positively received. Sadly, Ninja Gaiden 3 and Quantum Theory were critically panned.
Other Koei Tecmo games already available on PS Now include Dead or Alive 5, Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends, and Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2. The number of Koei Tecmo games that Sony can add to the service is too big to list, but potential games include Last Rebellion, Atelier Ayesha: The Alchemist of Dusk, and Dynasty Warriors: Gundam.
PlayStation 4 and PC owners can use a PS Now subscription to stream more than 450 games on their console.
