Longtime fans will recognize Morrowind as the homeland of the Dunmer (Dark Elves) and the setting for The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. According to the official website, players will be able to visit many iconic locations, including the Ashlands and Vivec City, and meet various characters such as the immortal god-king Vivec.
The land of Morrowind and all of its new locations and quests are not the only additions to the game. The expansion will also introduce a new class, the Warden, that blends powerful swordplay with nature-based magic. Wardens will also have access to the War Bear combat pet. Furthermore, players will be able to participate in new Trial and PvP modes. Trials will include the Telvanni tower of Tel Fyr and the Clockwork City, while the aforementioned Ashlands will pit players in 4v4v4 arena matches.
Zenimax will release The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind in five different editions. These editions include the standard edition, the Morrowind Upgrade Edition, the Collector’s Edition, the Digital Collector’s Edition, and the Digital Collector’s Upgrade Edition. Each of the collector’s edition comes with a special war horse mount, a non-combat Dwarven Spider pet, a special gray War Bear, new emotes, and Morag Tong armor. The physical collector’s edition also comes with a special journal, a Dwarven Colossus statue (not to be confused with a Dwarven Centurion), a map of Morrowind, and an exclusive game case. Furthermore, each collector’s edition will come with a “discovery pack” that is also available to players who pre-order the standard and Morrowind upgrade editions. This pack includes an exclusive Warden costume, a Dwarven War Dog pet, treasure maps, experience scrolls, and Dwarven Crown Crates.
The The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind will release on June 6th for the PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
