Mothergunship is a 3D bullet hell of shooting, crafting, and survival
Grip Digital and Terrible Posture Games have recently unveiled their upcoming 3D bullet hell game Mothergunship. The game will eventually release on the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.According to a post on Xbox Wire from Game Director Joe Mirobello, Mothergunship is a fast-paced, bullet hell FPS game where players have to fight their way through randomly generated ships. "You take on the role of one of the last members of a resistance against an invasion of data-hoarding robotic aliens. They’ve taken Earth and now you have to take it back, one enemy ship at a time, dodging through innumerable waves of bullets and squaring off against some of the largest bosses ever seen in an FPS," Mirobello promises. Players will take the role of the final member of an army (or one of the few remaining members if they play co-op) in a last-ditch effort to fight off the invading alien robots and the titular Mothergunship.

It’s Mothergunship’s crafting system that sets the game apart from other FPS titles. The game gives players the freedom to build whatever ludicrous Liefeldian gun they can imagine. From twenty-barrel shotguns that fire lasers to dual gatling-rocket launchers, Grip Digital and Terrible Posture Games promise near limitless combinations.
Not only can players craft the most ridiculous guns ever conceived, they will also face off against some truly titanic bosses and encounter various co-op-only surprises. Neither Grip Digital nor Terrible Posture Games has provided a release date on the game
