A new gameplay video shows off the beginning of BioShock from the upcoming remastered BioShock: The Collection.
The video, released by the game’s publisher, 2K, is a Let’s Play from user “GhostRobo.” The video walks players through 14 minutes of the first title in the series, comparing changes from the original game to the new remastered version.
BioShock: The Collection will contain BioShock, BioShock 2, and BioShock Infinite, as well as all of the released single-player DLC for each game. The collection will contain remastered graphics, higher resolution, and improved frame rates.
This video is the first of three, each one revealing the first few minutes of each title in comparison to its original release.
“Coming with BioShock: The Collection, the never-before-seen video series, Imagining BioShock, takes you through the inspiration and creation of Rapture and its inhabitants,” the video’s YouTube description reads on 2K’s channel. “Play through the remastered version of BioShock to pick up golden reels and unlock the secrets behind Rapture. BioShock: The Collection will be released on September 13 for PS4, Xbox One and PC. Those who already own the titles on PC will received the upgraded versions of the games for free.
