For long time after the release of the Xbox One, owners of the console longed for backward compatibility with Xbox 360 titles. When that finally arrived, they were ecstatic, but not every game made available this way is a masterpiece. When an actual classic 360 game is made available on the Xbox One, it is a joyous surprise for everyone. Of course, this can be tainted if the game doesn’t work properly. This was unfortunately the case for Halo: Reach.
Those who played Halo: Reach on the Xbox One after it was added to the backward compatible list have complained for months now about bad frame rates and horrible lag that makes the game extremely difficult to play. Microsoft has heard their cries and went to work to fix these issues. It looks like there may finally be an answer.
Xbox Platform Lead, Bill Stillwell, released a post on Twitter stating, “Finally pushing out an update to Halo: Reach on BC.” When asked when this update would arrive he responded, “Should start showing up in the next 30 minutes if not already live.”
So there you have it. If you have been trying to play Halo: Reach on the Xbox One with a ton of issues, they should be a thing of the past now. Go and see for yourself.
