The Final Fantasy franchise has been one of the most well renowned video game franchises for over 20 years. The first game actually saved Squaresoft from going bankrupt. Of course, this is before they merged and became Square Enix. This series has continued to be a huge staple for the gaming company. Evidently, they have spent the last 10 years making the next installment and it is finally complete.
After being one of the longest developments in video game history, Final Fantasy XV has finally gone gold. It had been delayed a few times during its creation and fans thought they might never see the end. Even now that it is a month away, the fear of another delay loomed over. Now, that can all be put away with the confirmation that it is complete and has gone gold.
This was announced by a tweet from the official Twitter account for the game. It reads, “Now FFXV has gone gold a special team is working to bring new experiences to FFXV with the DLC. Haru on stage now is in charge of that team.” With the amount of time we have waited for this title, some DLC to extend the joy sounds perfect.
Final Fantasy XV will be released on November 29th for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
