A new update has been released for the PC version of Dishonored 2, making a number of small fixes.
A new update for Dishonored 2 is now available via Steam as a Beta update. You can read how to access the Steam Beta here. Update 1.1 will make a number of small fixes, including the following:
- Mouse improvements, including a fix for sensitivity being framerate dependent.
- Fixes and AMD cloth physics issue, which impacts framerates at various points in the game.
- Fixes an issue affecting CPU task priority – the game no longer switches CPU task priority.
Another update for Dishonored 2 is in the works. Update 1.2 is in development, and will address a broader range of issues, including performance issues. The update is estimated to release sometime next week.
Last week Bethesda acknowledged that the PC version of Dishonored is experiencing problems. The company has released a number of suggestions to help players improve the game’s performance. These recommendations include avoiding using Alt-Tab when playing the title. Bethesda also suggests that players should avoid having background applications running when playing the game.
