Final Fantasy XV has has been talked about before its release, not only for how it looked and how it would play, but also for the fact that it was in development for about 10 years. Considering how much time this is, it was evidently clear that there was a large number of gamers that couldn’t wait to get their hands on the latest title in the series from Square Enix. Just take a look at the UK charts.
While FIF 17 still remains at number 1, newcomer Final Fantasy XV takes the number 2 spot on its first week. A fairly impressive task, it’ll be interesting to see how long it stays up there, or even if it can take that prized number 1. With this new entry in at number 2, some games had to get pushed down a bit.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare has fallen down to number 3 and Pokemon Sun and Moon have trickled down to 9 and 8 respectively. Battlefield 1 and Forza Horizon 3 went up from their previous positions, as well as Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. Meanwhile, Watch Dogs is still holding it’s spot at number 6.
Will we see one of these title take down Final Fantasy XV? Is it only there because of the release? Only time will tell.
