Japanese game developer, Cygames has announced that they will be teaming up with Capcom to bring the world of Street Fighter V to their hit collectible card game, Shadowverse. The collaboration between these two developers will bring Street Fighter inspired items to the game and will expose Shadowverse players to the unique and diverse cast of characters that exists in the Street Fighter franchise.
Starting this spring, players will have the chance to collect Street Fighter V themed character skin and card backs which will add to the game’s already wide collection of cards and other collectible items.
The following Street Fighter characters are set to appear in the event:
- Cammy (Forestcraft)
- Chun Li (Swordcraft)
- Juri (Runecraft)
- Ryu (Dragoncraft)
- M. Bison (Shadowcraft)
- Vega (Bloodcraft)
- Karin (Havencraft)
Shadowverse is Cygames’ popular CCG. Along with its multiplayer mode, the game also includes a single player campaign, complete with seven full-voice stories. As for the cards, there are over 600 with detailed artwork, each one as creatively detailed as the next. Shadowverse throws a wrinkle into the usual CCG formula with gameplay that revolves around strategically evolving cards your mid-battle to make them more powerful.
Shadowverse is a free-to-play title available for PC, iOS, and Android Devices.
