Turn 10 studios and Universal Pictures have partnered up to develop a standalone expansion for Forza 2, called Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast & Furious. The game will be created by Playground Games. the studio behind Forza Horizon 2.
“I hope what we’re doing here is a model for what we do in the future,” Turn 10 Studio Manager Alan Hartman said. “It’s been a great relationship, and I don’t want to end it after this, so we’ll see what’s possible in the future.”
The expansion won’t require players to own Forza Horizon 2 which is coming to Xbox one and Xbox 360 on March 27 and will be available to download for free between April 3 and April 10 promoting the release of Furious 7. After the 10th, the game will be priced at $10 USD.
Players will control a driver in France who sources vehicles for Tej Parker and will be portrayed by the actor who players Parker in the films, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges.
