The Elder Scrolls series has always been one that takes free world exploration and tons of content to the next level. It was an RPG that has always been highly received as one of Bethesda’s most successful endeavors and is still evolving to this day. The latest installment in the series is the Elder Scrolls Online which is an MMORPG that stays true to many of the things that The Elder Scrolls has always done right, but this time allowing you to share these adventures with countless other people across the entire realm of Tamriel. The Elder Scrolls Online was originally a subscription based MMO for the PC and Mac released on April 4th, 2014. However, on March 17, 2015, the subscription requirement was rescinded and the business model for the game changed to that similar to Guild Wars 2; A one time buy system that drew in many players left on the fence about the game.
The team at Bethesda has been hard at work, on expanding their player base and the game has also been in development for the PS4 and Xbox One systems, coming to consoles on June 9th and collectors and standard editions are both available for pre-order through their site. As of this weekend, The Elder Scrolls online is now also available for digital pre-order on Xbox One.
