The Nathan Drake Collection – the recently announced remaster of the original trilogy of Uncharted games, exclusively available for PS4 – will feature a Photo Mode as well as some new trophies, SONY has confirmed. Here’s their statement on the new features.
New Trophies – Brand-new trophies created exclusively for UNCHARTED’s debut on the PS4 system.
Photo Mode – Freeze gameplay at any time and take control of the camera to capture your most memorable moments from the trilogy to share with friends directly from your PS4 system. Utilize graphical filters, camera controls, and other options to customize your shot.
That’s good news to our ears for a number of reasons. Firstly, the trophies on the PS3 versions of the games were never particularly inspiring so here’s hoping we’ll be given a more creative list. Secondly, Photo Mode was also introduced in The Last of Us Remastered on PS4 and worked very well, enabling players to fiddle around with a certain shot to their hearts content, so more of the same is likely.
